Dr Emma Bond is the founding dentist at The Centre for the Treatment of Sleep Apnoea. She is one of the founding principals at Tindale Dental Centre in Penrith NSW. Emma has a dedicated interest in helping patients to reduce the effects of sleep apnoea. This is achieved with the use of Mandibular Advancement Splints. Emma believes this is best done in consultation with a Medical Sleep Specialist.
Emma considers it important that any treating dentist should have the further training and accreditation in dental sleep medicine. This is why Emma has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Dental Sleep Medicine from the University of Western Australia.
This post graduate course involves an intensive research component and underpins Emma’s commitment to understanding Sleep Apnoea and sleeping disorders.
Emma is also a fellow of FRACDS. Fellowship is the highest academic level of achievement with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
